LYRICS – PUNK ROCK PILLS

Little bar named Tokyo
Where no one goes
‘Cause no one knows exactly
What is going up their nose
Brown cheese and shitty beer
And I’m glad she stays away from here
She’d be the last one left here
On my jock tonight

CHORUS
Where is my Vicodin?
I slammed all my heroin
My punk rock pills will get me through the day
Where is my Percodan?
I snorted all my coke again
My punk rock pills will make me feel ok

The Elvis Disciples punk band were SO much fun to work with and I love their music. I love this song because it’s so politically incorrect, and that’s part of what punk is all about.

I’ll let you in on a little studio secret. For all the years that I worked in studios you know which genre always paid their bills on time, worked the hardest and were always good for their word? The punk bands! Believe it or not. Just my experience.

The look and presentation of the genre is part of the art. And I have high respect for that too.
